About
I am a cloud engineer focused on designing systems that remain understandable, observable, and dependable as they grow. My work moves between AWS serverless architecture, product engineering, and the operational details that make software trustworthy.
MeremLab is where I operate a Raspberry Pi and Linux homelab with Docker, Nextcloud, Pi-hole, and Ollama. It is a practical environment for testing self-hosted services, local LLM workflows, and the decisions that do not show up in a demo.
I am also building Clarity and teaching programming at Black Boys Code. Both keep me close to the same question: how do we make complex systems more useful, more legible, and more humane?
Experience
2026 – Present
Owning product architecture, AI integration, beta testing, and the end-to-end system design behind an AI-assisted product workspace.
2025 – Present
Teaching young people how to think computationally and build with code through hands-on programming instruction.
2024 – 2025
Translated complex technical concepts into clear developer experiences, documentation, and community programs.
2024 – 2025
Built and improved product workflows across frontend and backend systems in a fast-moving financial environment.
Capabilities
I choose tools for operational clarity, not novelty.
Selected work
Each project begins with a real constraint, carries an architectural point of view, and is documented as it evolves.
Product engineering · AI
AI-powered relationship intelligence that helps users recognize communication patterns, reflect on conversations, and make more intentional relationship decisions.
Cloud infrastructure · Serverless
Event-driven AWS infrastructure that detects motion and sends timely notifications without a server to maintain.
AWS · Self-service infrastructure
A self-service image pipeline that verifies access, processes uploads, and delivers optimized assets automatically.
Self-hosting · Infrastructure
A self-hosted Linux environment for learning, operating services, and experimenting with private AI workloads.
Engineering Journal
Case studies, architecture notes, and operating lessons published on Substack.
How access verification, object storage, and event-driven processing shape a dependable self-service workflow.
